Sailing "Three Degrees"

Three Degrees

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things

that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the

bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the tradewinds in

your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

-Mark Twain

In November of 2008 Ethan Harris, Ryan Harris, and Eric Adamczyk decided that they wanted to travel after graduation from college. Ethan was set to graduate in December of 2008 with Eric and Ryan to follow shortly after in May of 2009.

On April 1st, 2009, which also happens to be Ethan and Ryan's birthday, the deal closed on a 1983 34' Hunter Sailboat. Ten days later the boat hit the water on Lake Macatawa in Holland, MI where she would spend her summer. Come fall of 2009 she is set to be shipped south where a sailing trip between the three of us, bound for the Caribbean, will begin.

This page is dedicated to not only the trip to the Caribbean, but the entire adventure. From day one until the end we will be updating this site with adventures, photos, captains blogs, and more.
